We recently had the opportunity to spend a few days in the Upper Peninsula's Keweenaw Peninsula and frankly, we're yearning to go back. A rich history in mining and a beautiful natural landscape makes it a perfect overlanding destination for those in the Midwest or the East Coast of the United States. There's few who know the Upper Peninsula like Expedition Portal member and co-founder of UP Overland Kristian Saile, and he's just posted a photo essay: Celebrating Fall; 5 days through the Keweenaw Peninsula's Copper Country.
