The goal on this trip was to explore some remote areas of northern Thailand by hilux and on foot, visit some rural villiages and people, taste LOTS of different food :D , and also try to visit some unvisted confluences ( see www.confluence.org (http://www.confluence.org) ). We succeeded in all of those. A bonus was an incredible hike on the "roof of Thailand" and standing on the highest spot in the country. Some highlights included riding in tuk-tuks, going through the jungle on an elephant, eating crickets and squid, and walking in the midst of ancient temples.

Check out the trip report and photos HERE (http://www.bajataco.com/thailandadventure.html)

I just realized that this trip location is out of the scope of this forum. Admin, let me know if I should move it or delete it.

Bajataco,

Thank you for the post. There is no restriction, geographically speaking. The completed expeditions can be from anywhere in the world. There are some restrictions in the planned expeditions forums, but even then, the "other expeditions" can be used to post information about areas outside of the Americas.

That picture with the highlux is fantastic!
