Superwinch Integrated Solenoid

I have a Superwinch EPi9.0 winch (http://www.superwinch.com/EPi9_9_000_lbs.html), which has the integrated solenoid...

I got the Roadless Gear In-Cab Winch Control (http://www.roadlessgear.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?page=TOY/PROD/M/RG631) for Christmas. I'm a little shy about taking apart my relatively new, flawless, perfectly functioning, $800 winch to wire up this switch.

Has anyone taken one of these (or similar) apart to get to the solenoid before?

I have done that on the Warn.

The Superwinch models have a very cool s3 solenoid, which I would imagine would be easy to hook to.
