So, I got one of these before my recent month in Israel:

I'm going to get this from Amazon:

Add RoadNav or GPSdrive and I should have a 2lb, ultra portable GPS solution that still have full computer functionality as well for surfing, email, etc...from wifi hotspots.

Whaddya think?

Nope, RoadNav is an open source GPS mapping program that gets maps from the a variety of sources, then connects to the USB GPS puck for readings...

The Asus runs a modified version of Xandros Linux, so I have several open source options for software, I'm going to try RoadNav first, as soon as the puck gets here...Will let you know how it works!
