I am assuming we are going to see a lot of the race vehicles coming up for sale, since the cancelling of the Dakar.

Can you say..."Me want!"

Wow....what sweet bikes....gives me goosebumps just thinking of taking one of those to BAJA!! Nothin' like sand whoops at 100mph....

Wonder if some of the race teams are going to take matters into their own hands...mercenaries, perhaps.

My emotions ran wild with the naked KTM... like that girl in Mexico that stole your heart.

Me want!

Is it me or are the steering angles on these pretty steep versus a normal dirt bike? Pretty cool though indeed :)

I do not know what the Rally version is, the 690 enduro is 63 degrees.

My KTM 300XC is 63.5. It is adjustable too.

So Andre, not really too much different, a little slacker actually. The fairing distorts things a bit.

Kermit I think these bikes are where the lottery would come in handy.

As for the race itself, if I recall correctly in the past they've had to load all the participants fly them over an area of unrest then restart outside of the borders without ever actually having cancel the whole event. Honestly it's tragic how the zealots can ruin such an event and in essence claim a moral victory. :(

You would think mankind would be further along by now.
