Grif! Welcome to the portal! Great to see another Sahara vet on the board. I still tell the story of our meeting at the Mauritania / Mali border.

cheers

That is simply amazing...

I gotta say that there is something so un-Land Rover about that. Looks like the Lance camper my parents had in the 70's. Still, the idea of a Flip-pac camper in my 130 has crossed my mind a time or two.

I have to agree Kevin...

It's like a Japanese cowboy...
Like a brother on skates...
Like a blizzard in Georgia...
Or a train running late...

Something aint right.

Although, that's what makes it amazing to me. The U.S. dealers in an effort to make more sales Americanize the Series...

Basically a stock Series II with a little protection. She was driven not trailered from Denver to Moab and back again.

I love the Disco mostly stock from what I can see of it...

If I could do it all over again I would keep mine as close to stock looking as possible.

It is completely stock and a limited edition 50th anniversary edition with hand painted pinstripes that have the LR oval in the pinstripe at the back of the hood.
The truck has 46K original miles and I have kept NOS Disco waterproof seat covers over the original leather, so it looks brand new.
I have a factory new A bar with two new 5000 lights for it as well. You can get new brush bars and A bars out of the UK now very reasonably, as they outlawed them there as a pedestrian hazard (go figure that one!)

The 110 is about as stock on the outside as you can get. You can see it here:

And the 90, ... well, I kinda got crazy there!
