For Taco guys/gals (95-04 gen.)- if you have an aftermarket radio in your rig, and a pocket underneath where the OEM used to be, all you'll need is a 90* coax piece and a heat gun to move the heater plactic about 1/4" to make this fit perfectly in that space giving a really clean in-dash install.

I am thinking about getting one of these. Do you think it would be possible to change the LEDs to red? I look forward to seeing how it goes for you.

If your ambitious with electronics I bet it can be done, but if I were to use it, I'd leave it just as it is. There's a green LED channel indicator, a green one for dual watch indicator, a green one for scan indicator, red one for sound tracker noise reduction, green for RX, red for TX, yellow for WX, and green/yellow/red for SWR. It seems like a lot of work for little gain to switch all the LED colors around.

Yea, I am an electronics tech, so if I can get in there without damage then it should be pretty easy. I just hate a multicolored dash and am trying to switch over all the aux stuff to red.
