Maptech Terrain Navigator

does anyone have experience with Maptech Terrain Navigator Pro 8.

i was suprised to not find any thread about terrain navigator at all.

seems expensive to buy by the state. but seems to be very full featured. i downloaded the demo and its really nice. any advantages over OZI? or is OZI why no one here is discussing TN PRO..?

I use Terrain navigator and it works just fine. Loads up real easy and the maps just work, no hassles. If you only buy the maps when you need them it is not to expensive.

seems like the software is $300 or less discounted but includes any one state you chose..

do you know what the cost is of buying additional states or areas? and do you have to do that directly from maptech??

I bought the $99 version and it works fine for my needs. The additional states are around $99 each here (http://www.maptech.com/land/terrainnavigator/index.cfm?infopg=buy).

thanks.. just ordered a copy. and noticed the northeast is just one disc. so thats helps abit..
