Normally I would not start threads about guns. However, for information only,it sounds like new rules are being drawn up regarding fire arms in the National Parks.

The quote from the one guy about saying folks should know that their camp site neighbors don't have guns cracked me up. Just because it is a law doesn't mean everyone follows it. There are speed limits everywhere in this country and I bet almost ever driver in the country has broken one at least once. It is silly to think because there are gun laws that people follow them. How many crimes are committed with legally registered guns each year and how many are done with unregistered or illegally obtained gun?
