I've been digging thru the old topics in hopes to find a vendor that sells a adjustable coil-over strut for the front of a '07 and newer Xterra. My plan is to install an ARB style winch bumper + winch but need suspension that can carry the extra weight with out providing a lift. My thought was with the adjustable coil-overs I could just lift what was needed to level her back out.

Any thoughts?

At this point, the Delux Package with Bilsteins looks to be the best bet (not adjustable) but would provide the least amount of lift and still beef up the front end. http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/index.php3?page=shop/flypage&product_id=4182&category_id=53d87e789be9648e78d10ac0f2933bb9&ps_session=5675610e89fe5016cd181bce8f96c3e7

Thanks for any help,

Rob

The only choice for an adjustable coil over that you just buy, receive, and install is going to come from PRG Products. They're about $700 for the pair and tuned to your vehicle and driving. I think that's classy. It's possible that there are more options out there, but the marketing in this field is absolutely piss-poor.

You could, arguably, just buy a coil over shock (from whomever . . . SAW, Radflo, Bilstein, etc.), match a 650-lbs or 700-lbs spring, and then fabricate an upper mount. That's most likely more effort than it's worth because you'd still have to have the shock valved properly.

I'd checked that website a while ago. I think I found a link to it from nissanoffroad.com but the only thing I ended up finding was spacer lifts - did that years back on the Taco and not the way I want to go again.

Did I go to the wrong place?

That's the place. Their website is just horrible. You'll have to call to get any information.

I have heard that FOX is coming out with a replacement coilover for the front.

I believe the parts referenced are on a different page. Go to your link and look on the left side for "shocks" instead of "suspension parts." There is no photo shown, but the description is under "Radflo Replacement Coilovers" at the top of the page. $699 and built and sent only after discussing the application with you.

take a look here : http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f43/prg-product-list-19609/

for the front, it should be the same frontier to xterra. This will give you an idea of what Greg has to offer (actually, he has quite a bit more: sway aways, rear SAWs and Radflo remote resi struts, etc.). That is why everyone recommends giving him a call. He is a very knowledgeable, friendly guy.

As others have said, PRG is the way to go. Give them a call.
He has both radflos and SAW coilovers.

Called Greg this morning. He apologized for their website saying flat out that it sucked. That aside, I've got a pair of adjustable SAW's on the way. Great guy and easy to do business with.

Thanks everyone, would never have found it with you you.
