130 hp @ 2000 rpm, 6 spd trans, 2spd transfer, 11.00-20 tires, drum brakes, top speed 66 kph, gvw 13 tonnes, unladen weight 7.52 tonnes, fuel consumption 25 L/100km (9.5 mpg).
Page 469, Janes Military Vehicles 2004-5.
So not so fast for freeways (40 mph), only 10hp/tonne loaded, decent fuel consumption.
The L2AE has 14.00-20 singles.

You can find more information at http://www.man630.de/ and http://www.tdv2320-011.de/ (german)

The interesting thing is that it can run on nearly any fuel (except benzol and pure alcohol). It can even run with SAE 10 oil. Most people get mixed fuel (gas/diesel) for free from car shops.

Seller says top speed is 82kph.

Then either the transmission is changed or it uses much larger tyres.

You can find the regular speeds here:
http://www.man630.de/start/content.php?page=td_geschwindigkeit_l2ae

As the truck has only 130 hp and is heavy I would not expect to such a high speed.

The tires are 14-20, the top speed with 11-20 tires is 66kph.
And just having a quick look at the photos it lookes like everything in the back of the truck is very, very old.
