I made this to work with the ARE campertop I have. I picked up a pop up camper so I do not have any use for this anymore. I made the frame so it bolt to the bed sides as you can see. I did this to allow for maximum storage underneath the platform. It is all brand new and I made it about a week ago, I will fit a tacoma no problem. The frame supports are 57.5" wide, if you have another type of truck check it out. It will probably fit. I welded studs to the frame with wing nuts holding down the rear platform panel, so the rear can be completely removed. The front is hinged and I put pull rings on it. Which makes it easy to access stuff underneath thats in the front of the bed. I am asking $100 for everything, but can work something out for the right buyer. I cannot ship the panels, but will ship the frame and hardware. I will have to get a weight to determine shipping cost. Please contact me at euro.love@hotmail.com

I would be willing to trade straight up for 2 jeep wheels. I am building an off road pop up. So will consider any trailer/off road gear in trade.

I'm considering building a permanent sleeping / storage platform similar to this one. My question in concerning flex in the vehicle. My unit will be in a Suburban just above the wheel wells. What I'm thinking is a brace down each side (since I won't have bed rails like euro.love) and steal tubing for cross members to support the deck. This will add a lot of stiffness to the rear of the vehicle. Does anybody see problems with windows etc with this kind of set up?

Thanks for your help

Mike
