It's a 2007 Ural GearUp, made in Irbit, Russia. Part-time 2wd (sidecar wheel). Rugged as all heck.

If you see one driving around Oregon this week, make sure and say hi! :roost:

Excellent! I have always loved the GearUp, especially in camo.

Very cool. I have always thought that would be a blast to ride. Just simple and rugged.

Congrats, I've thought long and hard about getting one as they are great for any back road that you can find. Plus all the gear you can take a long. No excuse to leave the dog home.

Keep us posted.

The Urals are uber-cool. Paint the spot light a flat color though, and get rid of the chrome exhaust, and you are ready to go! I was talking to a guy in town who has an '07 (desert camo), he and his wife love it! Not so nice on the freeway (down right scary from how he describes it), but just perfect on the back roads.

I think a "all Ural" Mexico trip would make an awesome spring trip.
