I'm having a bout of insomnia and I found the Iveco Massif. Cool truck, Redux of the Defender, re-redux of the Santana Anibal. Anyone want to start a letter campaign to FIAT (who is said to be importing the IVECO industrial line within the next year) to get the Massif on US soil. Diesel/workhorse is how I'd describe it.

The Massif is an interesting vehicle. There is more information about it in a couple of previous threads:

I hope Fiat decides to return to North America. I've always been a fan of Fiat's small cars. The new Cinquecento and Panda 4x4 are cool and inexpensive.
The 2010 USA and Euro standards for diesel emissions are similar. This should reduce the cost of EPA certification for Euro truck manufacturers. The issue of the 25% "chicken tax" on trucks not assembled in North America remains unresolved.
