Great short, story and pictures and movies from the 1950's of a CJ-2A Jeep and a teardrop trailer booting around in Utah.

Did you notice on the sales invoice for the new Jeep, that the dealer supplied winch was $337, relative to today, that was expensive. The base Jeep was only $1400

Fabulous story I enjoyed it immensly, thankyou for sharing this great and inspiring story with us.
I have also been inspired by my own folks to explore Tasmania the island I have grown up on. My Dad is x army and we also were lucky to grow up camping & bushwalking.
I now 4x4 around the place with my teenage kids as after my heart surgery at 39 bushwalking is only limited to short hikes.
Once again thanks for sharing such a marvelous story.:1888fbbd:
I Have attached a pic from a trip we did 2 weeks ago to the West Coast of tasmania.

Absolutely awsome! I'm glad to read that it has been restored and continues to be used. Nice to see that the complete history of the vehicle and trailer was preserved as well.
Thanks for posting.
