Welcome! I've always had a soft spot for 70's and 80's blazers and sub's. Non rusty examples are nearly impossible to find here in the Northeast unfortunately. Enjoy it.

Great Rig! I've huge respect for the Subs, they can go in some surprising places. Here's my friend's truck. He's replaced the drivers door and added a bumper and winch. It's got the 6.2 NA Diesel and the GM 14bolt w/ some diff that locks when you power brake it.

Great Burb!
Our first offhighway expedition was in a ex-borderpatrol, 88, 3/4ton Burb, goofy green. We called it the Crocodile. (long tail, eat what you fed it kind of truck. We rescued two mountainbikers in a flashfloodstorm, our campgear, their bikes, the extra two people, all fit inside). An ex-borderpatrol truck has had a lot of rough driving, and it showed. So we had to let it go.

Thanks everybody i hope to get alot of ideas from this site,so far i dont really have anything mounted in the suburban its all just nicely stacked inside and there is alot of loading and unloading i hope to build some sort of system to mount everything to the sides and under the roof to keep it out of the way.

Nice suburban! It is amazing where they will go. I, like you am more into the trailriding, camping for several days on end.... then the rock crawling stuff. I love my burb. enough room to bring pretty much anything, comfortable on road and capable offroad. Nice rig, looking forward to seeing any mods you do. I am in the planning stages of building a drawer system for the back of mine to help organize all the loose crap.
Welcome to the EXPO!!!

I rebuilt the winch but the bumper is off a dodge and i need to modify it to fit correctly.
When you can, show some pics of the drawer system your making.
