Well,
It took some time waiting on the Deaver springs, but they finally arrived, and my truck is back from Demello Offroad. Here's a pic:
http://mikemillar.smugmug.com/photos/71375638-L.jpg

It now has 285s, with lexus GX470 rims - Donahoes up front, Bilstien 7100s in the rear with Deaver Coils 20% firmer than stock and 2.5" longer. 1" 4crawler body lift as well. I also put on some Spidertrax 1.25" spacers all around which balanced things out nicely.

A little trimming was done as expected, but no rubbing so far - but I haven't been anywhere offroad yet!

Oh, and just for reference here is the before pic:

I'll post more pictures a bit later.

Thanks for the comments.
Yes, I am pretty happy with how it turned out!

I can't wait to get it on the trail and find out what it can do.

As for my future plans for the truck, I've got some ideas - but right now I'm going to worry about paying for what I just did! :)

Thanks for your help everyone.

Those are Cooper STTs - I really like the look of them.
I heard good things, so I thought I'd give them a try!

Looking very nice Mike. Keep me posted on the performance of the Coopers, I am thinking of going with those on my next tire change, which is coming up soon. I know Chris really likes them.

It's leaning a bit to the left, going to even out the Donahoes tomorrow.
Also, I am moving to firmer valving on the rear shocks.

Mike,
very very nice looking rig. You should keep your eye on that credit card because if you hang arround here too much you won't have a chance to pay it off! :D

How do you like the Cooper STT tires?

Cheers,
P

I'm driving out for a little desert trip this weekend - so I'll get to see how it handles offroad! Should be fun, I'll post my impressions.

I had posted earlier that I set up the rear suspension with soft valving - that is actually incorrect. My Bilstiens are set up firm, and the ride seems pretty balanced with the Donahoes on the road. Now we'll see about offroad!

The Coopers are great on the road, very good road feel and control. I'll have to test them in the rain/snow.
Of course they are much much louder than my michelins were, and are pretty loud on the freeway, but nothing I didn't expect.
