Top Gear insanity sent to me by a Land Rover-owning friend:

I hate not being able to edit mistakes on the title! That should be an upper case "Rover."

I think "canoe boy" is a bit nuts! :jump:

Decidedly. Not to mention spewing two-stroke efluvia into that pristine Icelandic water!

But that Tomcat sure sounds good.

As per good times, I like the part where "canoe boy" says, if ice jams it up, the motor quits, and I sink. Fun ride though either way.

I'll bet the E-L-F sponsor wasn't you-know-who. :D

Interesting in two ways. One the idea of building aboat that won't float it's own weight. second that may not be the first powered kayak like top gear proclaims, depending on the age of the clip. There was a guy in cali back in 98 or 99 that stared powerkak. He was retro fitting honda engines with jet drives into sit on top kayaks. They were pretty cool and the conversion cost about $2500.

Here is another unit that will hold it's own weight. http://www.mokai.com/
