I have been "hovering" on the forum for a short time now, and wanted to introduce myself, (Josh) and post up my appreciation for all the technical information that this forum offers for our vehicle types. The members of this group definately know their stuff.....
I was reffered to this forum from my landcruiser club link from IH8MUD.COM that I am involved in with my "other" toy, my 76' FJ40.
I have been building my 2001 4runner slowly for the last two years, and have been having trouble finding a front bumper to replace the stock "Rock Magnet" that compliments the sliders and rear bumper that I have added. (see pics) If anyone out there knows of an option, please post it up, I would appreciate it.
The only option I have found have been a TJM, and the obvious ARB. I am not above doing some creative fabricating to make it work....my rear bumper from All-Pro Offroad is for a 2001 taco, but I had to cut, narrow, gusset and generally beat until it would work with the runner rear hatch and frame rails. I think it turned out pretty good....
Anyway, it is great to have the reference of a forum such as this! See you out on the trail sometime!
Here is a few pics of the start of my runner, and the build so far.

Welcome Josh!

Some great pictures you have there. I like your rear bumper it looks great! What part of AZ are you from? From the snow pic's I'd assume northern AZ. Hope to see you out on the trails!

Pretend I'm saying this like Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High (http://imdb.com/title/tt0083929/) when I say: Hey, I've seen that dude before

Although I don't remember where, but I distinctly remember driving behind a 4Runner with that plate recently.

:)

Thanks for all the responses!
To answer the Q.'s I am from Chandler, AZ (the pics in the snow were from a superior run I did this winter) And have lived here for 5-6 years, originally from Alaska, the REAL "EXPEDITION" destination.
I spend allot of time on the 101 working in scottsdale, so you could definately have seen my plate ARTICULATE. (60 miles a day from south chandler to north scottsdale)
I will place a couple FJ40 pics ASAP......
