This is just an FYI.
Ran across a used Flip-Pac for sale today at Valley Camper Sales , Escondido, CA. It looked in excellent condition, color white & will fit Tacomas, Frontiers, Rangers, etc. for the 6' bed. $1800.00 plus tax. Installation price quoted was $65.00. No web site available. Tel. 760-745-2361.

I've been thinking about one for my Dodge.......$1800 is a pretty good price, based off of what I have heard they cost new. BTW, there is a website www.flippac.com, but there isn't much info there. I heard somewhere that they weren't making them anymore....anyone know if there is any truth to that?

The last I checked, they were making them per order.

I was just down at the factory in Riverside CA last week to get a new side window...some a$$hole-drive-by-BBgun-shooter shattered mine. Nothing has changed...they're in operation like usual...although it always looks like they're gonna go out of business. I asked Diane about the fact that I never see them advertise anywhere...she said they advertise in Camping Life. Apparently they have all the Flippac business they want. The Flippac is actually only part of their business...they make other fiberglass products (hence, the name FRP - Fiberglass Reinforced Products) like utility beds for pickups/trucks. They said the Flippac Jr would be ready in January (goes on top of SUV's). There was a pic from BajaTaco's website on their wall of my rig/flippac with the beach setup...that was kind of a kick.

I bet I've emailed them 3 times in the last year for some info, brochure, etc. Nothing..... :(
They have a website now, but are in serious need of someone that has some minimal digital media knowledge- www.flippac.com
I ran across one in town today and started searching. Didn't even realize there was a successor of sorts to the WilderNest!
Can Vince or anyone speak to the tent quality/materials? Curious how it compares to something like a Hannibal.
