Well, some of us are still in school, have decided to go back to school, etc.... and some of us have kids that are going to be in school soon enough for another school year and schedules are going to be more hectic. So, what better way to celebrate the summer's end than having a trail ride/trail clean up day?

;)

The trails off route 33 see a lot a traffic and abuse. I personally camped on Kephart Run the other week and my camp site was covered with broken glass. I ended up leveling a few bags of trash but it there is to much for one man.

The members of va4x4 have decided to have an end of summer trail clean up August 23rd. We would like to see member from every group to come out and help with the clean up in a joint effort.

If anyone's interested, please post up.

meet up times and location:
hope to see some of you out there to help clean up our trails. I f you do come..please brings some gloves, big trash bags & pack a lunch to eat on the trail.

We'll meet at the Sheetz on Rt. 33 in Harrisonburg at 10am. We'll head off to run/clean Dry River first at 10:30, then move on to Flagpole when we're done with Dry River.

The Sheetz is, more or less, at I81 and Rt. 33. Take I81 to the Harrisonburg/33 W exit, the Sheetz will be on your right about 1/2 mile off the exit.
