Seikel is a German company that offers upgrades to VW products.
They recently introduced a "T5 Extreme" van with portal axles.

The new suspension provides 17 inches of ground clearance without
requiring weird driveline angles.

I just saw one of the syncro Vanagons coming up the Pass from Colorado Springs the other day. Had a real hard time staying focused while gawking at it. WAY COOL.
Some neat stuff here. Thank you.

http://www.2canadiansonbikes.com)The VW LT was the bigger brother of the Van. They actually made them for a loooooong time basicly unchanged, the early 80ies I think through the end of the 90ies. Now the new ones look quite different.
I think VW never offered the LT as 4 wheeldrive or suncro version, but there were at least 2 aftermarket companies making conversions. One was Suelzer, the other one was all-something. Not sure if Igelhaut also converted some VW, they are more specialized on Mercedes. The LT on the picture appears to be a Suelzer conversion.
