Metal 20L Wedco Can Dimensions [Archive]

Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying some of the Wedco 20L metal cans. I need to know the dimensions of the cans but none of the web pages I've searched have dimensions.

I'm sure some of you have the cans? Can anybody break out a tape measure?

Just an FYI - earlier this summer Checker Auto Parts (Kragen in some parts of the country) had these on sale for $5.95!

I told myself at the time I didn't need one but at that price I should have grabbed a couple. Might want to keep an eye out for a sale at local auto parts stores. Why pay $30 when you can get 'em for $5? :ylsmoke:

Please note that photo is the dimensions of the plastic jerry cans
The metal ones like you have pictured are about .5" narrower and .1" thinner

metal- approx 13.5"x 6.5"
