Well its been a few months since I've gotten out to the desert. But October is here and its cooling down! So in preperation for an event later this month I rode shotgun with a friend in his FJ. I didn't want to risk getting too hot in the old YJ. But hey, my Jeep was there in spirit!

We ran Vallecito Wash, Carrizo Creek, Arroyo Seco Del Diablo Canyon, Diablo dropoff, Fish Creek/Split Mountain, down past Superstition, Painted Gorge, Carrizo Mountain, Devil's Canyon, Dos Cabezas, Jojoba Wash and Oriflamme. A great, long day!

Here's a little something I put together-

Well that is one good run, I cant believe you guys went without me! :p
Its going to be nice when the temp finally drops.

I have been through most of those locations but that list makes me realize how much of Anza I still have to explore. Have you checked out the wind caves yet?

Anza is such a beautiful place :) Diablo dropoff :safari-rig:

Just out of curiosity what is the event later this month?

Oh yes! If I have time. I always try to make it a point to visit them when I go through there.

Its for BorregoFest on another forum. I think this will be the third or fourth year it been held out there. There's a link in my signature.

Dave, it may not be the most difficult thing ever but I would love to see you try it in the SMB
:jump:
Its just as fun coming up as it is going down! So have you mastered the beast yet?
