View Full Version : Unimogs heading toward Vegas

I was driving home from Zion last Sunday the 5th. I saw three Unimogs, one U1300 camper and two 404 troop carriers. They were all heading toward Vegas on the 15. Was there an event? I know there was an event at Johnson Valley OHV area that weekend, maybe they were heading home.

There was a "MogFest" in Calico last weekend. I know there were some guys there from the Vegas area. I wasn't there, but a friend took some photos of some pretty cool rigs. Maybe some of these guys are also here on ExPo?

More importantly, how the heck do they get those kayaks up and down. I can barely get mine off the top of my tacoma alone!?!

And the more pointed question....where were they planning on using them? Looks like desert to me...

btw - Mogfest is a great event, we had the opportunity to attend 2 times while being on vaccation in the US

Man, i'd pay to see all those rigs out there. That's one of my favorite camp spots. Rob, more pics? Is he still on the board?

Werner, thanks for posting my pics..

I have some more which I will get around to posting. There was a load of domestic trucks with us which I didn't post on the site because they were for the mog group.

It was a good event and I drove the camper back to colorado afterwards.
