Welcome to ExPo!
Are TAM trucks often found for sale in good condition in Russia?
Is it difficult to find spare parts? What's your top speed on the
highway?
TAM trucks are often used by fire brigades, as well as the military.

TAM was produceing trucks in Slovenia (former Yugoslavian - YU republic) mainly for YU military purposes. Also in small quantitys for fire brigades and electric companys. I dont belive that truck is available in russia because they have enough of their own production. Tam was producing trucks only by licence.
Truck has 5 gears.
It can go 100km/h (62 m/h), but cruising speed is from 80 - 90 km/h (50-56 m/h). Consumption is from 18 - 22 litres/100km - (14-15 mpg).
Parts are available in our local part shops. I don't know for other countries. Magirus Deutz engines was mass produced till early 90-this. I believe parts should not be a problem. Than again, it is an aircooled engine which is very basic. No water pumps, no complicated water cooling sistem, no radiators. Only one oil thermostat which is leting oil to spin air ventilator (visko). Engine is runing without any electricity.
One more feature I did not mention: it also has self inflating tire system. Preasure can be adjustet while driveing from 1.5 bar to 5 bar.

TAM is a close relative of GAZ-66 which are plentiful in Russia. The Russian vehicle comes with a petrol v8 engine.

Very Nice truck and box. I love how clean the work is and how much you were able to fit in there.
I have a TAM 110 BV here in Orlando, Florida. I believe it is the only one in the USA. Lots of fun. It was imported here a few years ago by a local business man with Serbian ties. It is available for trade/sale if anyone is interested.
