Flounder is going to be able to relate to their experiences in so many ways. Maybe you can get him to tell you a story or two about sea lions threatening to swallow you or facing huge swells in a sea kayak.

That looks like a monster epic. I wonder how many beers they consumed hatching that idea? Pretty awesome. I'm sure they had plenty of beta of the coastline over there. Not the sorta thing you'd want to do blind.
