For any of you Colorado folks that are interested, Rising Sun 4x4 club of Colorado is working with Boulder Ranger district for a work weekend on the Jeeny Creek trail, outside Rollinsville Collorado. Jenny Creek actualy starts off the Rollins Pass Road, near the Moffat Tunnel.
The plans for the weekend are to install 90 post to block off the mud bog at Yankee Doodle Lake. We will install post and cable. A little further down the trail, where one of the big snow drifts hangs out, we will be installing a winching point.
This is a very exciting project for Rising Sun. The user created mud bog at Yankee Doodle Lake is an eye sore, and a bad image on the 4x4 community.
