today for the second time I got a 0463 code on my 06 LJ (from my 01 FSM its a fuel level voltage too high code) . first time it happened fuel gauge went to empty and MIl light came on. I disconnected the battery and the code went away and stayed away till today (maybe 300 miles), the gauge also worked again. today it was just a MIL, no fuel gauge going dead. I disconnected the battery again and checked the harness as best I could under the jeep and it all looks good from the T case back to the tank skid. whats this code mean? am I looking for a bad wire in the harness or is it a bad fuel level sending unit? jeep has 16,500 miles on it but I'd like to know what the cause could be before i let a stealership monkey get in there and tear things apart. if its something simple I'll deal with it myself, otherwise its off to the stealership for hopefully warranty work.
