Really looking for a couple of orange Scepter gas cans for a project of mine. I've got a couple of brand new olive drab Scepter cans I can trade (only interested in trade, they are NOT for sale). Let me know if you've got some new or lightly used ones for sale or trade :D

I bought a new one this summer at a local army surplus and if you cover the expense I will trade it, only used it once so in next to new condition...
Also now I have an excuse to check in the store to see if they have any more...

If you wouldn't mind I would gladly make it worth your while. I could also use an extra filler spout too. Would you mind checking?

Yeah no problem, i actually should have bought more of the orange ones when I bought mine as they were in new never had fuel in them condition...
Does the one I have interest you even if it is just one?

If I can find a second one, I need to have two matching ones ideally. Thanks and let me know what you find out

Kurt,
You might try calling up to DStactical in Canada and see if they can get the "orange" ones in for you. They bring in a new shipment every few weeks. I just picked up a couple more green cans from them last week. They aren't cheap, but at least I was able to get the two additional cans that I should have gotten form Equipt last fall. They have your filler necks as well.

Kurt,
If you can't get something in about a week or so, shoot me a PM. I am heading to Toronto on another business trip and the office is very close the the Scepter factory. I can pop in and see if they have one and then send it off. Shipping won't be cheap from Canada, but the option is there.

I have two red/orange ones - although they have had fuel in them, can you ship them having had fuel in them?
I am willing to trade. I actually have 2 red/orange and two olive drab ones just sitting in my garage. And then I also have 2 tan water cans.
E-mail me at jon at h3dv dot com if interested.

Thanks, I'll let you know! Ideally I would like to buy two new ones but if that doesn't pan out, trade will do :D

Kurt,
Did you get anything worked out? My two Green Scepters have made it to the US and are somewhere between washington and Utah.

The surplus store here just got three orange ones in recently, never had fuel in them but a wee bit scuffed from rough handling/storage.
They look very decent though
Bonus is they are set-up for an outboard motor tank with some cool fittings.
Cost is around $55 cdn...
If you still need them let me know:)

Can't say I'm familiar with the fittings they have, I think I know the setup your talking about but are these incorporated into the caps or the actual can body?
I am still in need of a couple orange cans, I've kindv'e stalled as I've been working a lead to get a handful of caps to fix some of my existing cans.

No the cap is a regular cap but underneath there is a second fitting with a valve in it and then a second hose comes with the can that connects to the can fitting. I will see if i can get a pic later, might be worth a thousand words:)

Bump for a couple oranges. Will take good clean used ones either buy out right or am willing to trade clean olive drab ones (I'll pay shipping). If you by chance have two new orange cans I have a limited supply of new olive drab cans I'd be willing to trade, again I'll pay shipping. LMK :D
