This seems like a sweet do it all unit IMO. It is expen$ive though... :Wow1:

I have used that unit before in the last few weeks: It is like anything that is an all-in-one. It does most things ok, a few things great and a few really poorly.
Turn by turn directions are some of the best I have ever used, and the system does not assume it is smarter than you (i.e., it will readjust the route if you decide to go a different way). But, no off-highway maps or detail.
Ipod interface is cool.
Big money though.

For that price you are better off with a CarPC. The problem I see is the navigation is probably worthless off-road, as were it's predecessors, which I too had my eye on. Once I researched CarPC, my wants switched right away.

I have seen a few complete units go for as low as $500 on ebay. :drool:
