Sierra Expeditions is please to announce that we are carrying the Xantrex PathMaker battery combiners.

PathMaker is a battery combiner that automatically connects 2 or 3 battery banks for simultaneous charging and isolates them during discharge. A toggle switch allows the user to manually parallel battery banks for emergency starting power. For use with 12 or 24-volt systems, PathMaker has user adjustable settings for connect and disconnect.

The remote is flush mount, with a splashproof front and includes a 25' cable.

Dim: Flush Mount (2.25" H x 3.65" W x 0.75" D)
Cut-out (3" W x 1.625" H)

Wil, if your going to mount the remote panel in the cab, can the battery combiner be mounted somewhere under the hood? I think I remember reading that BajaTaco was told that the control unit shouldn?t be exposed to the elements. Where would you recommend mounting the unit?

The only thing I saw in regards to exposing it to the elements (fire, water) is that it would void the Warranty.
