Well, Here's a interesting Tidbit, My DO Bedbar that carried my Hilift Jack for three years, until it the jack was stolen, does not fit the New 48" Jack I bought today. If I put one mount through the Jack the other one splits the holes ? Go figure, did Hilift change there hole spacing? Maybe I ought to call the guys that stole my old one and ask if they would like a new one . Then i could get the one that fits back. Anyways, just thought I'd let y'all know whats up. They are lucky you were not coming out of the house with the bow in hand...

:Wow1:

I had a similar problem with the jack. Jason used the test unit he had to measure the mounting and base holes. My jack is totally different and the bumper needed modification...

Strange... Do you have the all cast or the cast/steel model?

MMMM not all High Jack lifts have the same spacing for the holes. I would contact Demello and talk with Jason. He'll get you squared away.

It's the non-cast (cheaper one) and it was off by only half a inch. So I decided to go get the Hydraulic Ram ( used Trench Rescue ) off the Fire Truck and ever so slighty bend out the mounting arms. It was a successful operation , the jack now fits and I broke no welds ( Jason's a Welder ) All is happy once again in Big "D". Thanks for the help y'all......Tu Compa, Suty

Glad it worked out for you...

By the way, the cast models should have the holes in the same spot on all of them. :p

There is Post by Jason over on the TTORA board in regards to the High Jack Lift Spacing issues HERE. (http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198840&postcount=1)

After this happen a couple times we found out that Hi lift had a couple differnt bolt hole patterns out there. 90% of them are the same the 0ther 10% are differnt. This as you could imagine makes things a little difficult. So I set out to find a universal mount that would let you move it to make it fit. plus I wanted to make something a little more finished.

The post is on their new lift mounts that fit all lifts.
