You know the line, as slow as possible, as fast as necessary.

Who said "White cruisers can't jump?"
Very cool...
(looking at the video again, I guess it is more silver or gold isn't it?)

Spanish Land Cruiser 100?
That must explain why it looked he was driving a manual, instead of an auto.

His name is Dandon and he is from Madrid, Spain. It's a 99 euro spec LC. He participates over at MUD on the 100 series forum.
To each their own I say. He knew the risks and wanted to have some fun. Nothing broke so he was happy:hehe:

Hi all!
I got this site linked by a www.ih8mud.com forum member, (hoser).
I am the proud owner of that 100. Yes, it is silver. And yes, I also think it was a little crazy. Scenic, I didn't floor it *accidentally*, it was all on purpose. I was just testing how to get stuck and unstuck and then, suddenly, I felt the need- the need for speed :)
BTW, it actually is auto, not manual. And it is a V8, though 99% of LC100's in Spain are the diesel HDJ100.
BTW, I just returned from my holidays and have driven about 4000 km since that jump. Nothing has fallen apart yet ;)
Thanks for your comments!

Welcome :)
I just read this thread, and a few members here got carried away with their comments (very un-ExPo like). Sorry about that... Nothing wrong with driving your own vehicle hard if you want to.
I have never been accused of being easy on the Tacoma, that's for sure.
Would you mind telling us more about the off-highway opportunities in Spain? I have heard that many trails are available, oh and of course you are 10 miles from Africa too :victory:

Welcome to ExPo dandon!
My jaw dropped when I saw that video of yours. On one hand I was surpirsed to see the jump, on the other I was impressed that someone would actually try that! Lots of fun :sombrero:
Like Scott said, tell us more about your adventures in Spain. Any more videos?

Dandon, welcome to ExPo! Great video, I have to say, I was surprised to see that jump at the end. Very good stuff, and I got a good laugh out of it. Please share some more stories with us and tell us more about your Cruiser.

Like I said before I have done that too, I recall doing somrthing similar to him when I went to Puerto Penasco and I was attempting to cross thru the Altar desert, I made a wrong turn and got a very deep sand trail, no choise but to press the accelerator to the floor and here we were jumping hard on a hill.:smiley_drive:
