Mt. Rainier

i love to backpack and scramble. today i hiked from mowich lake to spray park and beyond to flett glacier.

for you who arent from washington state, mowich lake is a high alpine lake and spray park is basically where mt. rainier begins on the west side. flett glacier is one of many glacier flowing off mt. rainier.

the sad thing is that this was my first hike since last feb.!

i love doing scramble hikes, but seems like i just dont have much time anymore. i would have to say, snowshoe camping is my favorite. i did an overnight snowshoe hike at snow lake:camping: last feb, and it was a blast.

looks wonderful! I too find I have less and less time for the important things. I didn't make it all the way to the top of Whitney this year, too much snow for me.
