Nomadic artist and expedition camper Michel Sculz Krzyzanowski has decided to sell his custom Fuso FG, and replace it with a Unicat. Some photos of the new camper can be found here:

http://michelszulckrzyzanowski.blogspot.com/2009/01/deer-also-doesnt-know-beforehand-who-he.html

The truck chassis is a Mercedes 1550. The camper appears similar to this Unicat model:

However, the placement of the door and windows indicate that the internal layout is different than the model pictured on the Unicat page.

Congratulations, Michel! Please let us know more details about your new home on wheels. If you need someone to drive it from Germany to Baja California, I'm sure the members of this forum will be willing to help! And please let us know when you're ready to sell your Fuso FG.

Looks nice. I wonder why he found it necessary to replace the Fuso?

I am also wondering...why the change?

I'm wondering why I didn't take up the Nomadic Artist gig.

Hope you enjoy the new ride, Michel!

Life is lived as a continuing chain of challenges.
Now it feels a new part could be riveted to the chain

The Fuso Szulc is self-designed and was a prototype.
By now, all that was not perfect, has been made perfect.

Meanwhile, in Germany the recession is hitting hard and people are dumping their expedition vehicles.
An opportunity to get one and travel to the Ukraine first to clean Grandfather's grave.
To continue to India and China to see dear friends there.

Sure looks like Michel's camper. http://www.unicat.net/en/info/GUM8FHAS-Unimog4x4.html
The new asking price is 135K Euro, or about $185K USD.

Michel is working on a new photography project at present. It involves travel around the world, no time for earthbound explorations. The project blog is here:
