I had been looking for some other options for mounting the Hi-Lift and got some advice here regarding mounting inside to keep the jack clean and ready for action.
This is what I came up with. 60" fits inside with at least a quarter inch to spare on each side :)
I (edit) used .2" thick x 2" wide stock for the brackets. It is quite solid.

VERY NICE!!!
I have been debating between my front ARB (in the elements), on my yakima racks (still in the elements), or else where.
Could you post a more detailed pic of the bracket? Also did you fabricate the bracket? Or what was/is it made from?
Thanks
:)

The bracket is simply bar stock I bought at Lowes. It is 2" wide and 0.2" thick. I made one simple bend (all you need is a large vise and a 2lb hammer) and drilled two holes for the M10x1.25 bolts, one into the seat bracket hole and the other through the high-lift.
