1993 FZJ80 Cummins 4bta swap by Proffitts
The good:
1999 Cummins 4bta engine with 85k miles
New style Heavy Duty 700r4 with torque converter lockup
Water to air aftercooler that runs on seperate cooling system from engine
Injectors were just done
Getting about 18 city 22hwy mpg
This Cruiser has only been in Colorado 4 yrs it is originally a Florida vehicle so it has not seen all the crap on the roads for very long
4 Dunlop Radial Rover mts with good tread left
Spare is Nitto Mt brand new
Slee 4" springs
Ome shocks
Double Cardan front shaft
Slee Caster Plate
Weld in front Panhard adjuster
MAF rear panhard drop bracket
etc.
Drives straight
No driveline vibs at any speed
All Slee stainless brakelines
new style slee headlight harness
Arb winch front bumper
CDL/ pin 7 mod
Interior in Excellent condition with new leather on first and second row seats (3rd row did not need it.)
Exterior is in overall good condition with minor scuffs here and there
No accidents
Front axle service and brakes done about 10k miles ago
You dont have to get on the Proffitts 18 month wait list
The bad:
The Cd player hasnt worked in about 15 yrs
Right front fender flare is cracked on underside but isnt visible unless looking under the vehicle
Rear bumper is slightly dented from backing into a pole
The usual drivers side mirror is broken, though it is in a place that you can see just fine
The reason for selling is that alot in my life has changed since starting this project. Gotten married, moving, buying a house, and lost a chunk of my income. This has been in my family since we bought it off the lot. Not something I want to get rid of but just cant justify it right now.
I am probably forgetting some things. Just ask.
