How cool. I have never seen an Explorer with a snorkel (or a TJM bumper for that matter). Welcome to ExPo

Thanks for the welcome.
The snorkel is a modified Tacoma unit. Next on the list are sliders, rear bumper with tire and gas can carriers, and a custom roof rack/basket, OME add-a-leaf, Ford #1 torsion-bars. After that a locker in the rear, extra tranny cooler, and maybe someday an RCD Ranger 5 inch lift. My focus is more on daily driving, family camping, touring and up to 31 inches (below the alternator) of mud or water than on radical trails.
On the maiden voyage of the snorkel I drove into and out of a mud pit over 100 feet long with water above the headlights. Can you say pucker factor?

Cool! Looks great!
After hanging out on this site, a fridge/freezer will be added to your list.

I better keep buying lottery tickets and start collecting cans and bottles.

Yea, no kidding! Oh man, that is a good grocery list you have going there. Sounds like a well-rounded plan. Pretty neat that you got a Tacoma snorkel to fit that well. Did you have to do trimming to get it to be so flush? Or did it just coincidentally fit that way?
100' of mud? No thanks. :p

Were are you Sac. ?
I am in the Arden Park area. The Explorer is looking good. Glad to see another Nor. Cal. person on the board.

I looked at the whole product line and the Taco' snorkel worked best for me. I probably could have used a 100 series snorkel and achieved the same result.
I pulled the fender, took 60 or 70 measurements, put the fender back, drank a couple beers real fast, and attacked it with a 3 1/2 inch hole saw. After that I got out my heat gun and silicon and forced the snorkel to comply. I plan to continue chipping away at my grocery list in November. October is completely wiped out.
