I'm considering installing a computer instead of a dedicated GPS device.
I stumbled upon the Lifebook 1510D on a trip to Fry's Electronics:

It looked like the perfect size to try and mount somewhere in the truck.
An exhaustive search online found a nice mount made for it:

Nice find, and with the mount would make for a tight package. Are you planning on buying the set-up? It would be great to hear your feedback, or maybe even a gear review for the equipment section.

I'm thinking about it.
I was just about to pull the trigger on a 276c, and still might - but this would be really nice to have in the truck. I'm going to have to see where I'd get the cash for it - maybe it's time to sell the Thinkpad.
