3rd members???

hey all

i have a 96 Tacoma, that is slowly but surely getting setup for everything I want it to do, my roommate has a 94 4runner that went for a swim and he hydrolocked the motor, so now that is just chillin in my garage.
He had the factory 4.56 3rd members, I have 4.10's .. can they swap over?

Oh yeah ,... if anybody needs any 4runner parts.. he wants to sell it haha

Most likely.... no.

Unless you have an ultra rare e-locked rear differential (which would be the same 8" locker used in the 97'+ TRD or locker equipped trucks. Most likely you have what is known as the 8.2/8.4" (been called both). Long story short the mounting flange on the two axles are different and short of some very massive fabrication, its not happening. It would be cheaper just to regear your 8.2/8.4"

I didn't know Toyota offered 4.56's from the factory, learn somethin new every day :)

why not buy a case of beer and physically check it out in friday after work?
