Sorry to hear it but totally understand. No fret, you're still welcome to join us in the Jeep section (sans Jeep). Best of luck to you!

I don't understand. I won't sell my Jeep until dead or disabled.

It's just a means of transportation.

Well i needed the money, the jeep has been sitting the majority of the almost 3 years I have owned it. It cost me to own it and I never drove it. People in texas dont have great 4 wheeling likgin the rest of you guys do. I get tired of driving 5 hours to the nearest worth a damn place to wheel. I still have my Xterra so I if I have the itch I can scratch it.

My Jeep is like family. Theres not a nut or bolt on it that I haven't removed or replaced. Its taken me to places my truck never would or could. I'd sell my house first. But. I say that as a single male with no real other obligations. If I had a family I'm sure, as painful as it would be, I'd ditch the Jeep to keep the family safe and comfortable.

I love my Jeep because it perfectly meets my needs, not because it's a Jeep/AMC/Daimler/Chrysler/Fiat/Renault/Tata (soon, probably). If I could find a Land Rover that was as good, I would dump the Cherk in a second, and if I could stand my brother's Xterra then I would be a Nissan owner.

That said, I doubt that anything will be as good a compromise for my current needs as my Jeep. And I have developed a certain fondness for every single cheapskate modification it has suffered at my thrifty hands.

I understand the part about not using it enough . My 06 Rubi only has 4500 miles on it. Heck it's never even been in the rain .
Here in south Florida there's just not many places to go.

I got rid of my wrangler when the twins were born but I replaced it with my KJ in 04. Have never had any major issues with it. Love owning a jeep and will always have one in the family.
