A couple of guys like the idea of the RTT after seeing my Technitop but they don't like the price.
I will show them yours.
Again along with everyone else what is the weight? What are the materials?
and do you have any pics with the rain fly?
Any other specs welcome.

Cheers,

Are the windows alway open to the screen material or can they be covered?

Is the rain fly deployed in the pic of Jeff's tent?
I would expect a rainfly to stick out/over more and provide rain cover.

Anyone with one of these tents have more detailed pictures they can share?

no idea what retail is on these now. I bought one from Mel (directly from Mombasa) a couple months ago. I paid $325 (plus another $100 for shipping). For the price, it's a great tent. There are some things that I wish were different and some that I'll definitely change (like the ladder), but IMO, it's a pretty darned good deal.

At $225, it's a steal. I don't know luis and have never dealt with him, but that price is excellent if it pans out.

Luis...how far is Laredo from Houston?

Dad is having an 04 F150 King Ranch shipped from Houston...perhaps we could throw a tent in the back.

Has anyone received theirs yet and can provide more pics? Is there a mattress with this? Probably missed it but what's the inside dimensions?

I ordered one for my old 2006 tent, but sold my old tent before i could try it. I dont see why not. Just bolt the new ladder through the outside aluminum frame like the new one.

Call them up and order one, wasn't that bad on pricing and you'll love the new ladder. It's way better.
