I didn't find a thread on this yet, wanted to see pictures of vehicles at hiking trailheads.

This was the base camp at the Mortero Palms Trailhead, for the Goat Canyon Trestle Expedition, December 2008.

OK so where are the ROOFTOP TENTS,,,and trailers ground camping is so last season, Nice photos though and a good looking rig for sure.

There was 1 trailer (with RTT) on that trip - look closely. Mine wasn't quite finished yet.

Tent camping is still allowed for those of us who aren't up for spending $$$ on a tent that goes in the truck.
Although after the past trips I've taken I'll need a trailer soon enough just to handle the crap we bring and the dogs.

I'd love to see your scrapbook of old, Ventura County trail photos.
One of these days I'll remember where I put my pics of Indian Dunes, Santa Clara Riverbed (when it was legal) and Ormond Beach (when it was open to ORVs).
