Oh, you're killing me here. I've got an older toughbook that's ridden full time in three different trucks now... still keeps ticking. I'd love to upgrade but just can't afford it right now. Grrr......

Great computer, a good deal for someone. We also had the same model that served us for many years until we got our Macs.

Welcome to Macdom:bowdown:

$700 and it's yours, otherwise I go the Ebay route and pay their fees.

I have the same computer and I love it, however, lately the keys are acting weird. Regardless of what key is pressed, it always gives a different symbol, letter number, ect. Does this sound like a virus?? (Or do I need a new one)?

When you close the Toughbook the keys are very tight against the screen. It seems it eventually needs a new keyboard, which a easy fix with a quick trip to Ebay. This is accelerated if you ever stack stuff on top of it or any action that pushes on the key board.

As a matter of fact I had to do the same on this unit about six months ago.
