Any idea on what would actually be worth offering? It seems a little high to me.

1998 Mitsubishi Montero LOADED!!! - $3995

This is a fully loaded Montero 4X4 with leather sunroof 3rd row seats power seat. The truck has the original sticker in it for over $38000.00 The truck is tan with a silver bottom and tan leather interior. I have priced this truck far below the Kelly Book price of $6840.00. Don't miss this truck at a GREAT PRICE!!!!! The truck has 197000 miles on it and runs great

Thanks

Could you please list the location?

Also, additional pictures might help.

As for KBB value, what are you using? Private Party value on the '98, adding in features as leather, sunroof, roof rack, and grill guard, and being optimistic that it's in "excellent" condition (instead of good or fair as choices on the KBB site) I get $4,740. Here (http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/PricingReport.aspx?YearId=1998&Mileage=197000&VehicleClass=UsedCar&ManufacturerId=34&ModelId=231&PriceType=Private+Party&VehicleId=6863&SelectionHistory=6863%7c31838%7c75024%7c0%7c0%7c26 0472%7ctrue%7c260450%7ctrue%7c260458%7ctrue%7c2604 44%7ctrue&Condition=Excellent&QuizConditions=)are the results. Did I miss something?

Still seems like a good price. Do you happen to know if it has the rear locker?

I bet you can talk him down to at least 3200. I'd get rid of the running boards though. You can send me the front grill if you dont want it. I need something to weld some pole holders to. Looks like a good truck overall. That rear locker is worth a quarter of the price. Good luck with it.

I just pickup up a 98 with 120,000 miles and a great dealer service record for 3400.00 in So Cal where prices are on the higher end. I bet I could have talked the seller down more, but he was out of work and the price was fair. I ditched the running boards the second day I had it. Expect about 1500.00 right away to change the t-belt, water pump and plugs. Unless you have records to show it been changed in less than 60,000 miles. You dont want the t-belt to break.
