Jim Brantley's most excellent event - Surf n' Turf (http://realcruiser.com/surfnturf/index.php)
What a great venue to host a wheeling event - plenty of space - on beach camping - wheeling and jumping in the sand dunes -
A quick sort of the photos from Surf N Turf 2005

How did the 255/85's do in the sand? What pressure did you run them at? How did the tread lengthen?

The tires did surprisingly well in the sand - I ran them at 18lbs. The sand was not very wet ( hadr packed) so you needed power to get up and go on the dunes. We were able to get our sand legs in no time and have no issues with travel up the dunes - The IFS and the Tacoma ruled the dunes :ar15:
Last time we were in the sand dunes was the Outerbanks of North Carolina.
Sand can be so much fun :)

This is really good news, I'm thinking hard about getting these tires in Jan or Feb when I get my next set. :victory:
