Where do you guys find them? I cant find anywhere locally and have only been able to find a few places online. Im looking for a pair of the 307 TRAIL LITE GT and would like to try them on before buying but I am thinking that may not be possible now. Where have you guys found them? Around here there is a Bass Pro Shop, Sun and Ski, Backwoods,....thats about it as far as outdoor stores.

I took a chance and ordered mine off of their website. Best footbed ever!

I love mine. Going on 14 years of nearly daily wear (on my second pair).

All the positive reviews are what convinced me to give them a try. How does the sizing run? Im a little nervous about getting them online so I want to try and order the right size.

As I recall, their website had you measure your foot with a tape measure, then gave you a chart for correct size. Their chart had me ordering 1/2 size larger than normal. They fit great, but I haven't tried using a thick wool sock with them yet. They are a little robust for driving with a manual transmission.

Havent been able to find a sizing chart. It seems impossible to find the ones I want even online. Just have to do some more digging.

I think you are doing the right thing, finding a pair to try on. I need to run my Zamberlans a little bigger than my other boots, by half a size. They can also run a little narrow, if that can be a problem for you.

I am split between choosing the 310 Skill GT and the 996 Vioz GT...anyone have opinions on either boot? I am coming from some Danner Mountain Lights that I have had multiple pairs of and love! I like the sole design of the zamberlans better and am willing to give them a try.

I tried a few pairs on weekend just gone, as above 1/2 size bigger. Im usually a 8.5 (UK) but the 9's fitted a treat :) as above the toe box is quite narrow to, but my current Rohan's are pretty wide so the difference in feel was huge! I tried some trail lite GT's but im waiting out on the 310 Skills as they have had good reviews... also need to save the £££.

Before you fall in love with any boot, you need to stick your feet in them. Not all boots fit all people. People always talk about boots in 2-D taking into consideration length and width. There's also "volume" which is the height of the boot over your instep and then there's the shape of the boot with regard to heal cup dimensions, and lastly where the boot wants to break across your foot. Modern boots use a poly shank that is ideally designed to offer a lot of lattitude with where a boot breaks (bends) but that doesn't always match your foot.

As an example, I would love to wear Kayland boots, but I can't get them to fit my dogs. If Zamberland doesn't fit, you might also look into their boot peers which I would consider to be La Sportiva, Asolo, Kayland and definately Scarpa. All made with similar materials in similar factories with the same level of quality and traditional approach to protecting your footsies.

I think I may try on a pair of Asolo boots. It doesnt look like they sell Zamberlan boots in this state.

For Christmas my wife bought me a set of Zamberland Vioz GT boots from REI. We had them shipped into the local store since the store does not carry the boots on the shelf. What's nice is REI has a great return policy and you could easily mail them back for a refund. We did some hiking while in Idaho and I love the way they fit.

Oklahoma.

Hmmm closest REI is in Dallas. Have you called/emailed Zamberlain US to ask where a retailer is near you?

I have emailed them to ask a few questions including that one. I am waiting on a response currently.

If you're in Oklahoma you can find the Asolo boots at Backwoods. I have had excellent service from the Backwoods staff in Wichita, KS.

I saw Asolo boots at Backwoods the other day and have been looking into those more and more lately. Everyone at Backwoods in Tulsa are always really friendly.

Zamberlan is WAY slow in responding. I asked a question on the sole and was directed to HQ in Italy...4 or 5 weeks later I got my response. Savin' up for the Skills, but can't remember if they ran true or just a bit small.

Picked up my skills last night at REI. I wore them all day and so far I am pretty pleased. They are def comfortable right out of the box, and I tried on several pairs from Asolo, Keen, Vasque and REI. Only fitment issue is were my arc rides is a little off, but I am going to stick with them a while and see what happens. The initial quality is unmatched in anything I have tried so far.

My Skills are a bit narrow in the toe box. I had a local outfitter use a rice steamer to heat up the leather and a rod-thing to bump out the toe and was good to go. I don't have particularly wide feet.
Other than that little issue, I LOVE them. I haven't touched my Asolo's since I bought the Zamberlins.

I think thats interesting b/c my feet are wide...so much in fact that I normally go for an E if available. The asolos i tried were too narrow, but the zamberlins are just right on the width for me...

How are the Skill for brisk walking/light jogging? I'm not referring to a long distance run, but sometimes a simple walking pace doesn't do. I think I read that the Skill's set up is not conducive to much more than a moderate to brisk pace??? I'm looking at the Skills and Panthers--and the Panthers because they're not goretex and the sole seems more "bendy."

I wouldn't want to jog in mine. They are super comfy, but not light or "bendy". You could (I mild sprint up the 47 stairs to my front door once in a while in them), it just doesn't feel natural.

Garmont makes good shoes in an "American" style toebox - wider with wiggle room - versus the more common European/ tight 'n' narrow style

^ those Garmots are sweet looking

I wouldn't want to have to jog in my skills but I guess I could. I like them for the toughness and support of them. they are some serious high quality. and they fit like a glove.

My experience with Zamberlan boots mirrors that of several other folks here: beautiful, well constructed boots, but a bit narrow in the toe box for my feet. I ordered mine online, and agonized over whether to keep or return them while wearing them around the house. In the end, I decided to keep them. After hiking 5 or 10 miles in the real world it was quite clear that I'd made the wrong decision. Live and learn. The search for the perfect boot continues...
