Factory Service Manual: http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1993/index.html

The description is under charging system, how to remove the generator (alternator).

Without AC or PS, you should have just the one belt. On the 22R-E the belts are from back (nearest to engine) to front (nearest radiator): (1) water pump & alternator, (2) AC and (3) PS.

Loosen the alternator top and bottom bolts (the top is slotted on the bracket) and rotate the alternator in towards the engine. That will take the pressure off the belt. Then work it up and out over the fan. Reverse with new belt, using the alternator to tension the belt.

So the belt should go around the inner most center pulley and the alternator?

Another good FSM site

I like the layout of this one which makes it much easier to go right to the section you need. Though it's a '93, I've used it for tons of stuff on my '86.
