FJ40 Color Codes [Archive] - Expedition Portal

I think I found what I need, but would like confirmation if possible. :confused:
I was looking for the paint color code # on my FJ40.
I think I found it on the VIN plate.
Right under the VIN # is “C/TR/A/TM: 033 LPH K052 H42.”
The first # 033 seems to correspond with what I got off CCOT: color # 031 for 1981 and 033 for 1983. Mine is a 1982, so that seems about right.
Am I correct?
Don't want to order the wrong color!!! :D

Ed, I don't know the answer, but if noone knows the answer here I suggest going over the ih8mud site. Very good place for that kind of info.

Most automotive paint suppliers can decipher the vin. They usually have color chips that you can compare to your vehicle.
